omg
i have like a lot a lot a lot of things that's currently on going
am glad that the post-processing for the photoshoot i did last weekend is finishing real fast
i think i might wanna re-work a couple of the pictures
but i hearing stephie's comment really lift up the spirit once in a while
meaning that well, i'm not that bad after all
kinda lift up the confidence a bit :)
it's really nice when ur work is appreciated and liked by the people you shoot for
and that's what's been keeping me going
the feeling u get when the people you shoot for went "OMG !" or may be just a simple "nice !"
it's overwhelming

50% of my little self experimentation project is done
and am posting it today

this time round
i keep looking forward to the days ahead
and i see busy-ness
and again
i doubt myself at times on whether can i really complete them all
so much to oversee
so much to figure out
so much to handle
all at once
but then again
i'm really glad that i'm in this position right now
coz that's just life
coz that's the kinda life i have whenever i'm here
chasing time
i'm always chasing after time whenever i'm here
and it makes me feel alive
coz i know
my holiday will come
and then i can be free, lazy and just recharge my battery
and i know
she's there :)

my self experimentation i did which i kinda miserably failed but i'm still glad i did try
after watching like 4 seasons of project runway all during my break time
i got really really inspired
and wanted to try something on the cloth myself
so i made this
all by myself
i sew
i stictch
i sketch
and it went horribly wrong
but still it's wearable
and it doesn't torn up despite the stretch it'd had to go in order for me to put it on and off of "male"

i just torn out a shirt and a berms that i've never worn anymore
and there it was
damn untidy
but still

rainbow

today's rainbow must have been the biggest i've ever seen over my 8 years here in singapore
i was lazying around the house watching project runway season 3 when suddenly the phone sms tone rang
so a special thanks to lin lin for notifying about the rainbow or i would've missed it, watching heidi klum instead of snapping these rainbow
a few browsing online showed that today's rainbow's supposed to be full scale one
something, i've never seen before in me life
and i missed it
the moment i saw lin lin's sms
i immediately ran to the window, saw it
grab the camera
and ran off to level 22
where else to see a rainbow but from high up there ?
the sad thing was
the sky behind the rainbow was : /
not that amazing
i snapped off from level 22 quickly
before rushing down
thinking of snapping it from the ground
but the moment i reached like level 1
the rainbow were faint to also gone

like today
i is like have like 8 tasks to be completed
and it is like now...at 2a.m. in the morning then i is completed all my tasks
so i is very tired now
so i is just have enough time and energy left to edit one photo
so i is updating just with one photo
which i is think not so bad

lots of planning, organizing to be done like very soon
lots of shooting and post-processing to be done very soon also
all come at the same time
i is love my life now
like damn busy
but am busy with things that i love doing
fills all the boring times

hmmm....
part 2 pictures of the singapore flyer
i have like a few major projects ahead from this month all the way till june
. i'm organizing a 2 day exhibition themed "give you best shot" for the sim photography club members on SIM's open house next month on the 13th and 14th
. i'm involved with a secret project collaboration that's their biggest and first so far and i'm equally as excited as they are :D and we'll be shooting this sunday !
. i have 3 more project assignments from the school, one due tomorrow
. i'll be involved in an exhibition by mr.Tan (dunno the full name but was told he's like some damn femez photographer in singapore that his exhibition is so powderfu it's gonna showcase some 400 photos of his and i think the minister of arts or something will open the exhibition for him) this coming august
. i'm in the process of planning a charity exhition that's gonna be held in SIM in september
. i'll also be involved for "volunteer day" - an event the singapore youth olympics committee has been planning to execute and had given a few student leaders including me to execute them. yes, it's gonna be a nation-wide event happening this june !

went to singapore flyer
since the sky so damn nice
have to enjoy it slowly

i shot around the flyer from below first
walked around it
all shot in raw
thus giving me the ability to maximize the details of the photo
minimal adjustment to the blue tone
it was that blue !










then i took a rest d

valentine's day

this might not have been the most romantic post about a valentine ever in this blog
but girl you know i love you
and you know too that i haven't been there for you by your side for the previous two years
be patience
for we're gonna be spending every single valentine after this year's together
for girl, you know i will be there

i might have been in doubt
i might have been in doubt about us from time to time
on whether do i really love you that much
on whether do you really love me that much
hell, i can even be doubtful about my photography, the thing that i feel i do best now
but right now
there's no single doubt in me when i say

i truly do

morning macro

have a hard time sleeping...
so when the clock strike 6 and i was still lying in the bed eye wide open
i climbed up and pack my bag and off i go for some macro action
and here's what i caught this morning :)

then as i was leaving, after packing my gears all back to my bag
i noticed somewhere on the floor something big moving towards me
and then
as i saw it
i literally blurted out
"WOOO"
in a scared kinda way
took my camera back from my bag
and panickingly shot this









check out its size man
it's like the biggest spider i've ever seen in the wild
with fangs and all
omg
i think with its leg all stretched out
that spidey would have easily be as big as the size of my hand

er....dad made me a suit the other day
and finally it's done just now
my very first own custom made suit
so went up just now
set up the lights
shoot like a few shots
and like onli one of them
coz was too lazy to do my hair
and i only look to the left in this shot and the previous shots because i have like unhealing pimples scar on my right cheek and i lazy to photoshop them away
so all i do is look left

some fish

i've been vacuuming the photography part for a little while now back here in medan
as in the proper shoots i've been doing back here were like only twice
once were of the bmw
and the other time just two days ago
of f and i
so getting really shutter itchy
i whipped out my 400d
attach my 28-105mm lens that has a macro mode
and went down to my aquarium
and began satisfying myself before the withdrawal all kicks in XD




so here's some fish :)

since i've bought a bigger tank for my goldfish,
i've added a few more fish into the tank also
bought the neon tetra
bought the silver dollar
and this fish i dunno what's it's name
don't care
i is fascinated by its wing-like fin only
lol






bought 5 of these
and 5 neon tetras
and 3 silver dollar
have 4 goldfish from the previous tank
and 1 celestial goldfish
now in the tank
18 fishes in one big tank
XD

heartache

about my turtle, tultle.
over the days i've been here...
i've been giving quite some more attention to my aquarium
i enjoy watching other animals behave and the most i could keep as a pet are just fishes
so the other day on my way to the fish store to buy some more food for tutle
i saw how unique angelfish are
like u know
u touch the aquarium then due to their curiosity they'll move to where your finger is...
so along with the my tultle's food, i bought two angelfish home
put them together in the aquarium
and the next morning
during feeding time
i went looking for my angelfish
just to find out that one has lost its head and went all white down on the aquarium base
i went white
i've known this would happen
i know my other goldfishes will be ok with tultle coz they're fatter and tultle isn't big enough to whallop them
as i've read somewhere
turtles can whallop anything as big as its head
angelfish, being so darn skinny.....
became its victim
another one last though
so i thought that one is fast enough to ran away from tultle's attack
the next day...........................
gone again its head
and that was when i said to stop puttin in fishes in that tank till i get another tank

today though,
i went to the pet store again
off finding snail to put in the aqurium to clean up the mess tultle always make down at the base
and again
i got home with two more fishes
awed by its beauty
i bought the celestial goldfish and bubble eye goldfish
go google them
they're two of the 4 rare goldfish species
happy coz they're so pretty
and on my way home i began figuring out where the hell to put tultle
it definitely have to be moved else where
as i didn't bring a lot of cash just now...i've decided to leave the tank shopping tomorrow
so i got home
put them in
and took tultle out of the aquarium and left it on a bucket
but the bucket got hole one so cannot fill in water
after a while of noticing that tultle isn't moving a lot
i fell soft and began pitying it
i know it'll only be there for a night
but scared it kana too much stress
i thought
well...one night in the same tank with my fishes would hurt.....
and how wrong i was
it began attacking again
god darn it....
we all pray on the night of day 9 of the chinese new year
and i had just put tultle in just before i went off praying
and when i got back....
my heart just sank
it had burst my bubble eye's bubble.....
quickly then i went searching for another temporary bucket for tultle
when i'm back and as i was searching for where tultle is to lift it up
the horror before my eyes hurts this heart it shocked me till now....
just when i had a glance at tultle..
i saw it snapping at my bubble eye's eye again
quickly i lift it up
just to see that it has chew off one of its eye.......
like wth !!!
now my bubble eye is left with only one eye
damn...

that ox yaer update

so..how's everyone's ox year starting ?
mine's not so bad
quite good really
everything is a smooth sailing 7 stars cruise with the family thing
with her as well
great
and i want to be in this feeling like forever
but i know cannot
but i'll cherish them :)
and keep these feeling in the warmth of this heart

anyway

an update means photo update also ma

that was a shot i snapped off my balcony at around 10plus on the new year eve
shot like 10 shots
and then i stopped
and just enjoy the view
it's quite hard to shoot fireworks here
coz off my balcony
from where i was standing
literally the fireworks just shoots off 360 degrees around me
once my left side finishes off my right side began firing and then in front and then behind and then repeats again
some were far
some were very near
beautiful
the last time i had such a wonderful feeling viewing fireworks were when she was in my arms
this time
i had my camera with me
also can do lah



anyway again
i cut my hair
before cny also
to look neater and tidier i hope
so here's the new look :)

had a like 15 mins shoot of myself just now XD
and only 2 turn out nice
the others were like i was out of the frame la
or my head kana chop off or no arms etc la
lol
