i called her sexy,

about 98% of the shooters changed position for as soon as she changed her pose to this.
all of them rushed to the middle.
lens hitting lens.
they just didn't care.



well, i too kinda rushed a bit to the middle for that shot =P

correction,
it was model 3 and 6 that i feel are the best,
model 4 are too one of the worst.
she gives off fake smiles.
it just feel so fake.

well, personally,
i fell,
if u can't smile,
then don't,
like model 3.
she don't smile and the pictures turn out better.
if u can smile,
then smile like model 6.


kinda dulan lah,
went to belawan just now,
hoping to see some sunset,
damn !
kana rain 30 mins upon reaching.
sian one quater nia.

6 models countdown part5.

crowded with shooters !

model 5.
the lousiest of all,
i mean my shots.
the model was okay and only okay.
kinda fat for a swimming pool shot.

now here dri,
this is why i can't use the 50mm.
with the already 3 meters disctance,
she go stand so far away,

the 28-105mm lens helped a bit.
but when zoomed to the max,
quality ain't as pretty as when it's 28mm.

and i don't know her name,
i called her "mbak" during the shots :)

6 models countdown part 6.

so...i went to that secret of lighting seminar this morning.
close to 200 photographers from across town entered.
damn tiring.
bend down till don't know like how.

well, i shot in raw for the first 3 models and jpeg for the last 3.
so have to slowly convert them to jpeg.
lots of work i know.
but hell,
this is my first model photoshoot.
and they're having some competition.
each user can submit 3.
help me choose !

- model name, can't remember -
i just call her putih during the 10 mins duration we were allowed to shoot her :)
there were 6 groups with about 20+ photographers in each group.
so...
once u get a spot,
u can never leave.
and that will be ur spot for that 10 mins.
most of the time i have to bend down so much.
that my legs hurts bad now.
guess that's also from not walking long distances for a long time.

kay, the models aren't that pretty but they're quite good at posing.
or..i don't know,
it was my first time man !
so anyway,
here is putih :)

for her spot i think i got quite a nice one,
from 50 shots that i fired,
i liked bout 20+
which is good.
coz usually i suck.
like 50 can onli like bout 5 like that.
yea, i'm that nubie :(

oh yeah,
the seminar was conducted by two indonesian photographers,
mr edward tigor asahaan and mr darwis triadi.

(: i believe darwis triadi is one of indonesia's top photographer :)

habis gelap, terbitlah terang.

habis gelap terbitlah terang literally translated means,
after dark comes bright.
from what i feel it'll means is,
something like,
u know after lots of bad luck and stuff, or bad times and all,
u're sure to have a good luck or good times coming.









i was designing the amazon poster due tomorrow when suddenly i see white flashes coming out from my window.
it happened a lot of time when it finally caught my attention.
i tune down the music and look up at the sky.
another flash and the night sky turned white for a sec.
and in the next sec,
what came to my mind was...
run !
grab the canon,
grab the rc,
grab the tripod,
and run !
run upstairs.
it was one hell of a windy night.
presenting to you.
my first very few lightning.....

i set up the cam.
and did my very first mistake for my very first lightning.



i set the aperture too damn high.
and that shot didn't take long to be captured.













i learned my mistake.
change the iso to 200 and aperture to f/8.0 and f/5.6 interchangably.

i missed a lot of them.
one of which was directly above me,
which was where i didn't thought the lightning would strike.
it striked so damn nice !
like really across the sky !
kinda scary.

it was only iso 200.
why so much noise ah ?
something wrong with my setting ?
and canon is reviewed and have been said to be only of the best noise control camera.

i heard the rain stopped.
something told me to look at the sky.
well, i was hoping to see a rainbow.
u know,
it's 6 a.m. after a heavy rain.
thought rainbows come during these times ?
haven't seen one in a long time !
anyway,
what i saw made me RUN agian !

take the cam take tripod take the rc.
run upstairs again.

the best sun rise i've ever seen in medan.

gudang.

i went back to gudang this afternoon.
was there to help out and stuff.
gudang is where i used to work the other time.
the sparepart storehouse.
and i guess i miss working there.
time flies when i'm there.
and i forgot how funny all of them are.
i laughed thoughout the way man.
guess i will be going back there again from tomorrow on.




i took my canon there and here is a little something from the place.

damn...i hate that leaves on the left.
spoil the whole picture nia.
but can't find any angle without having other leaves in the frame.
