some rumblings here,

i have a step father since young.
as young as i could remember.
but,
my step father is dead.
as in...
i've never seen how he looked like.
i've never even seen his pictures.
all i know is whenever there is special day in the lunar calendar like cheng beng,
i'll go to this temple.
and pray.
it's funny,
really...
thou i've never seen him.
but at times, i kinda feel a connection with him whenever i'm in that temple.
and also when i'm at his grave.


come cheng beng day the other time.
there was this woman whom i've never seen before in my life.
appeared and followed us along.
usually,
my family's cheng beng will be a visit to my grandfather's grave site, my step father and my uncle.
2 different locations.
other relatives will join us too.
and we'll like chit chat about grandpa, step dad and uncle when we're there
quite a happy occasion i'd say.
coz it'd be filled with laughter and joy.
relatives from jakarta will fly back and my uncles and aunties will catch up with each other just there and then talking loudly like their parents ( my grandpa ) is still around.
that woman,
who followed us that day.
is my step mother.
she is my step dad's wife.

a step mother who's alive and whom i've never know of appeared in front of me when i'm like...
19 ?
like wth ?
and mum kept asking me to call her step mum ( in hokkien ).
which at first i refuse.
i mean...this woman has never even like talk to me before leh.
i had no choice but to agree later on.
thou i spoke to her just once.
calling her that and that was it.
it's kinda bothering me somehow.

i decided to spend some cash somemore on the lightbox.
i bought 2 more lights and some better quality bigger papers.
and find a bigger box.
