where did i go ?

i feel so damn old now.
the back of my waist is in pain.
it's the spine right ?

practically,
i was carrying a 1.5kg weight of bag walking around a 28 hectares area for the whole day.

canon eos 400d - 510g
canon ef 100mm f/2.8 macro usm - 600g
canon ef 28-105mm f/3.5 - f/4.5 usm II - 375g
+ other stuffs like water bottle and hp ipod etc etc

= 1.5kg

so where did i go ?

basically explored the whole zoo.
walk the entire zoo of singapore sia.
i reached around 10.
and left the zoo at 6.30.
i think they closes at 6.
but i dunno.
at 6,
i was still at the great rift valley of ethiopia.
shooting a wanking baboon =x
seriously,
for the 8 hours i spent in the zoo.
i learnt nothing but that monkeys are the horniest animal i've ever seen.
like everywhere i go i see monkeys sure they having sex.
i saw 4 scenes today and for the first time,
a wanking baboon.

upon reaching an enclosure,
i see the type/species/name of the animal.
and just shoot shoot shoot.
i shoot close to 600 pics man today.
about 150 deleted away thou.

i was walking towards the entrance already then,
(at 5+ before stoping at the baboon area for the final shots of the zoo)
i began walking back when all the hamadryas baboons suddenly run dunno where.
disappear all suddenly.

when i reach other enclosures,
i realised all the animals are gone.
and NOBODY IS AROUND.
not even the staffs !

i hurried my pace.
kinda eerie sia.




then,
it was



followed by

today was damn hot and humid.
prespire non-stop.
it was so bad that i bought a $4 worth of coke.
tell u,
i drink till the last drop.
$4 bux sia !


but u know,
when i was at night safari.
i was damn sian 1/2 alreadi.
body + the sling of the bag + hands + face
all damn uncomfortable alrady due to the humidity.
+ i was travelling alone.
the whole place damn dark.
and the path i walk like nobody walk one.
i think everyone was on the tram la.
so,
this is like SUPER EERIE can.
imagine walking in a "jungle" ALONE.
all the insect and other animals noises around.
all along the path.
NOBODY.
i turn back.
ALSO NOBODY.


well, fortunately
better alone than accompanied by things i don't wanna see.




then i shot this one.

made me even wanna go further !

i mean,
i was on the way back to the entrance already that one.
took the tram to the east lodge,
then took another 30 mins walk around leopard trail.
and walk again all the way to the fishing cat trail heading for the main entrance.


the croc was taken handheld.
and manual focus.


aniway,
after seein the croc on my lcd,
i felt a sudden burst of energy as the smile comes across my face.
really felt of walking all the way to the northen side and then take the tram to the west side then head home sia.

but the entrace was just a few steps away from the croc.

decided not to torture my body more,
i head home.




i took only 2 animals in the night safari,
the croc and this.

also handheld,
thus,
the camera shake.
