this will be my singapore zoo trip's story.
what i see,
what i did,
and mostly,
what i shot.
i head in quickly.
i want to save a good seat for the 10.30 show.
"wonders of the wild"
along the way,
my very first stop was the white tiger's enclosure.
spent very little time there.
thus, didn't really have a good shot that i'm like proud of.
i walk the path further down,
which lead me to
a warthog
what's next was australian outback enclosure.
went in and took some
kangaroos.
and i walk all the way to the shaw foundation amphitheatre for the show.
took a little rest.
and the sun began hitting in.
energy level is still 100% up.
reaching about 20 mins early.
i find a spot that i felt would be best.
not too far for my 100mm and not too near either.
i saw a small pool at the front and immediately knew that there'll be a little splashing from the animal.
decided to sit at the 4th or 5th row i didnt' count.
then the host introduced himself.
and this is the little bit of the wonders of the wild story.

and it was the elephant's show !

this monkey greeted me at the exit,
shoot him and a few close up shots before leaving the elephant of asia area.
i then reached my hand to my back pocket of my pants for the map.
GOD !!
IT'S GONE !!
"damn..must have dropped it on the seat during the show"
i was too lazy to walk back.
decided to just walk along the path and find out where i'd lead me to.
lucky me,
it leads to the forest lodge.
ate at the forest fare.
a meal of fried seafood mee which cost a whooping $6.90 and a $2 mineral water.
i ate halfway and felt like puking.
IT SUCKS !
my $3 hawker mee even nicer 100 times lah.
thinking of how rediculous it sounds.
i force myself to finish it up.
and i did.
i dropped by the elephant ride counter to ask for the map when i left,
next stop was reptile garden.
there's a snake feeding at 2 and i hope to get a close up of it.
which then i didn't.
coz i reach too early and left at 1+
didn't wanna waste time waiting there.
met the giant tortoise on the way out
can't remember it's before or after the reptile garden but here it is
oh yea,
