"Hi Herbert,

I am looking for a photographer, and I think you are suitable for this project.

The style of the shoot is based on the theme 'Beginnings', the mood is playful, light, with some references to childhood in terms of the location. We will be sourcing for old playgrounds around Singapore.

We are tentatively setting the date of the shoot on 21, 22 Feb. Will you be available on either of these dates?

began shooting !

the mini marry-go-round thing idea has been in my head for some time

i've wanted to shoot it this way ever since Stephie told me she wanted to have this thing in to the shot and asked how i could use it, during one of the many msn discussions we had prior to the shoot.

well, this being a fashion shoot, i was actually scared that things might not turn out the way both the fashion experts wanted

but am i glad that they like it too !

that was one of the first thing we shot as far as my memory serve me well

after that

everything just flows in its place

and hell

it was definitely fun !

during our shoot at the merry-go-round, both laila and kim came

2 more artists and their own rights to add in more input

and well, help me too in a way

if u've watched the video,

Laila's the one running in circle helping me turn the merry-go-round while i force the model to stay as still as she can and i hold on to my dear camera as tight as possible and be as still as i can be

a few rounds later

everyone else were walking in straight lines but the model and the photographer

also

not forgetting to mention

that the 2nd piece of dress the model wore were specially made by Laila for thos photoshoot !

manifesto is something that i've contributed for fashion nation

did a photoshoot for them

and hell it was fun !

i'm feeling really really really lazyyyyy

why ?

basically because the earlier part of this year was amazing

fun

awesome

full of creativity

because

lots of photoshoot

lots of post-processing

lots of things to be done !

but now

i gotta fill my schedules all the way till i end of april and dedicate all of this time to =

.doing project.studying.studying.studying.and.studying.

yes

it's that time of the year again

which

i pretty much hate and enjoy at the same time

late night sleeping + late morning waking + lots and lots of reading + lots and lots of writing + lots and lots of studying + memorizing = lots and lots of stress

and well,

usually this is the time where i'll anyhow shoot the neighborhood cats again

and also the time when creative ideas just pop up because i'll have to succumb the creativity for the studying

and i don't know what i'm typing already

so anyway here's fedora.02 lah

fedora.01 is the very first fashion related kind of photography i did at the start of 2009

shot it somewhere around the 2nd or 3rd of jan can't really remember already

and since i like i spent the previous hour figuring out how to again publish my pictures big big nice nice sui sui

i'm not gonna say much now

am still using photobucket

so i hope it won't screw up again this time coz i've yet to figure out how to publish big big nice nice sui sui pictures using blogger's uploading picture thing

finally finalized my name card d
nothing much happen today
except during dinner
where,
we as a family sat down and have our meals together
me half way tru my dinner, dad just starting his, bro with his indomie -.-" despite there's rice and proper veggies and some chicken and finally mum makaning some durian
yes, we're a durian-eating family :D
what's missing was just my sister who's in KL now
we, as a family having our meals together at home doesn't happen that frequently
with me who's always having weird meals times or 80% of the time either not home or back in sg
my bro who's just growing up = out with friends = nv home
sis, who's now also seldom home
dad who's seldom home during dinner
and mum who tend to always skip dinner altogether

and that dinner
was one dinner i enjoyed :)
and oh, the tv was off too !
despite the other food wasn't really the type i like a lot
but still
that was one lovely meal
one that i miss
one that was a daily occasion back then
when mum will always nag and nag
and shout at the rest of us
to gather
to have our dinner together

now i know
now i understand
after countless lonely meals back in sg
home cooked food isn't the best without your family by your side
it is the laughter + a little nagging + a little teasing and the sound of those chews from your family
the smell of your family together
that made that meal a little more special

:)
i really do wish it happen more often




anyway,

this time is totally different than the first time
while the first time i shot her, it was more of a cool cool tomboyish kinda type
this time round is more feminine, more emotive and funky i'd say :)

i asked maggie to come again last sunday to shoot one of my concepts, which would include lots of wind, hair-flowing stuff la
but she came looking like this

and i went :|
omigod, so formal
her hair so stiff also how to use wind blow la O.o
but since she was there
and i've been trigger itchy
we just went along with the flow
just like the other time
she was all cool and great as always :)
the shoot went on for some 2 hours plus
and in that much shorter time compared to her previous visit over my place,
i think we've achieved so much more this time
covering some 3 themes d
firstly of course since her hair is all formal
it'd be a bit more formal d
okay d
i is hungry

after that
we no idea on the formalities alreadi
so she said if untie-ing her hair would be better
i imagine imagine
then ok d
asked her to change
