last december,

my shooting buddy back home in indo arranged this airsoft shoot and asked if i wanna come along

so i tag along onli lor

coz holydays man

and i was free also

quite an interesting experience i must say

3 photos to start off first d

kk, my break time has just officially ended

so time to go back to the books

after everything that we've been through

all i can say is

i gotta fill my schedules all the way till i end of april and dedicate all of this time to =

.doing project.studying.studying.studying.and.studying.

it's that time of the year again

which

i pretty much hate and enjoy at the same time

late night sleeping + late morning waking + lots and lots of reading + lots and lots of writing + lots and lots of studying + memorizing = lots and lots of stress

and well,

usually this is the time where i'll anyhow shoot the neighborhood cats again

and also the time when creative ideas just pop up because i'll have to succumb the creativity for the studying

and i don't know what i'm typing already

fedora.01 is the very first fashion related kind of photography i did at the start of 2009

shot it somewhere around the 2nd or 3rd of jan can't really remember already

and since i like i spent the previous hour figuring out how to again publish my pictures big big nice nice sui sui

i'm not gonna say much now

am still using photobucket

so i hope it won't screw up again this time coz i've yet to figure out how to publish big big nice nice sui sui pictures using blogger's uploading picture thing

KL Tower part 2

ok...now long sentence plus phictures !!!
lol

ok..so i got up again still quite pretty early for my time, at around 10 plus and then left home after all the bathing and toileting and all to fetch anggie again for our breakfast, nasi soto !! one of my favorite local food ! yes yes yes me love nasi soto ! apparently, there are quite a lot of version of nasi soto from different parts of indonesia and of course the one i love most is from medan ! the city of food paradise so we all left home to went fetch anggie at around 11 plus and got really really really stuck at the traffic jam cause there was some peaceful rioting going on somewhere in the middle of our journey which got me stuck there like for an hour plus till before i can finally enjoy nasi soto !

ok so how does nasi soto look like ?



ok got rice of course !



and got this !

nasi soto comes with different variations
got soto ayam
soto kambing
soto sapi
soto udang

chicken
mutton
beef
prawn

and me love prawn the most but then the place we went the prawn sold out already so i just settled for soto ayam. ya, it's only a bowl of this soto soup with chicken inside but the soto is like.......omg !

and so how do u eat it ?



wet the rice till damn wet from the soto then slowly get a few chicken on there and add the chili....hmmmmmm makes me wanna get nasi soto again tomorrow !



and a cup of teh manis dingin to accompany the food....
omg...talk bout it i become hungry again now !!

ok so after that we visited kasimura cause i wanna get a new number under a different operator, "3" after that went to this relaxing and spa place to get myself a good aromatherapy massage on this damn tired body but i was practically laughing non-stop throughout the 2 hours of supposedly shiokness cause simply because i'm not use to those kinda full body massages and haven't got any actual massages done other than the one my love gives me every now and then :D after the massages we went to jalan bandar baru to get our stomach filled again with one of the best place for a good satay padang but then then i forgot that i had my canon G9 with me so i never take pic d, after that went back home to get willy's luggages and off we went to the airport to send him home, sent anggie home after that and finally had some time to hang out with a couple of my local peeps here again and bought like 20 dvds on my way back to enjoy later on tonight and here i am lor



ok, i wanna finish KL Tower's post today so will be quite picture intensive d today, more than the usual that's it

was hoping to have a much for closure with the family

belawan - kampung nelayan

er..the pics in this post were like shot back last month
on the 8th of dec
again
this trip was made with the citra photographers
amei and iksan
we traveled for around an hour plus for belawan
the port city of medan


























this very trip
opened up my eyes more
the beauty of photography is just that
it makes u see what others miss
and on this trip
i saw the locals
how they were afraid of their homes being torn down by their government
kampung nelayan
like the name sounds in malay
means fisherman's village
is a small little town build on top of the sea

























well, law wise
they've practically lived on an illegal land
that's why they were afraid that their homes will be torn down
and we were questioned a bit regarding that by the mums during our stay there
another thing was that
these people were amazingly friendly
when i board my car to take my leave
i was told by one of the locals to
"jangan bosen mampir ke sini ya bang"
meaning
"don't get bored visiting here"
it was not by one dood
but a few
most of the kids there were also very camera friendly

























sadly my 580EX had broken down when i was there
thus, no flash was fired and i went to 1/20 of the shutter speed
thus most of them went blur or i had to go down to the widest aperture

























one of the saddest thing i've ever seen with my own eyes were the picture above
right beside their homes were this small hill of rubbish dump
i believe they were separating and collecting plastics to be sold again
now, how can anyone smile so wide when u're on top of a massive pile of rubbish ?
i know i sure can't
they managed to do just that for me
saying how can a pile of rubbish be photographically beautiful ?
and i replied
this is a picture that i wanna share with the world
when people are out there with their technologies and gadgets and spending their money
another part of the world have to live with these just to earn enough to fill their stomachs
now, i sure wanna print this and go back there
find that girl in blue
and give it to her
well, i shall be back on my next holiday

the place was not that bad
thou limited
but i managed to pull off a couple of pics that i felt worth uploading

























iksan was the one who brought us around
and he said that we were suppose to be there for the sunset
well, since the sun wasn't really on our side that night
i said let's just make a little street photography and make full use of our trip
