28th rise 01

the rise on the 28th has got to be the longest and most pictures i have ever shot in the sunrises over at the apartment,
i believe this will be a two series entry d :D













i took a peek as usual from the window, and the sky was particularly clear then
you know, clear empty skies by itself wouldn't really make a great sunrise as there wouldn't be much drama then, however, i've gone up previously on such days, and the results were stunning !
so this time round, yes, i told myself
what else could you shoot other than these during these times man
and the journey began




as usual, i packed my bag,
my beloved 400d attached to a canon 10-22mm with an additional canon 28-105mm in the bag plus two filters : the polarizer and nd8
not forgetting too of course the G9 for its zoom capabilities and of course, the iphone for shots during my walk there :D





i reached up there and the views were refreshing, something i've always got when i'm up up above the cities, i reached early, and then i saw a thick cloud stretching across the horizon
"damn it" i hear myself say
that cloud would block the sun rising ! which would mean i'll have to wait till around almost 8 for me to be able to get the sun !





but looking at the condition, i thought, well it's worth the wait man
with that kinda thick cloud and this kind of sky, the sun rising would definitely bring more orange/yellow-ness to the sky !





i just snapped, as usual
the same views you'll have seen countless of times, just different sky conditions again





so, i wait....i wait somemore...





it got brighter !

i took out the G9, zoomed to its max and.....
