Another day missing day...
hmm...
Ok, i took a break from all the editing yesterday cause it seems like i've been editing my pictures since the day I was back and that has been like 11 days ?
Time sure flies man...
i got back here like on the 6th and 11 days had passed just like that and i'm still not settled down yet...
by settling down, i'll mean that at least i've done all the basic stuffs you know
like my room is properly arranged, everything is at their right place and not a bunch of shirts and jeans on lying on the other bed waiting to be ironed...
and i seriously don't like these messiness and i seriously need to get my ass moving and settle down quickly man...

Brian and Deborah first part

ok...i promised regular updates once i was back here in singapore but then seems like this place isn't even alive at all yet
am just really really really busy with what's been going on lately

currently i have some indonesian embassy thing to do
my recent take over as the president of photography club has also definitely add up to my busy list
quite a few things to settle
a few more shoots to do

meaning i didn't had much time really to edit my pics
to date,
i haven't even really complete my aceh's trip photos
what more my toba trip photo
and another one haven't even touch a single one, my belawan street photog with arifin the other time

oh my god !
that is really really a lot of photos

but now i'm gonna take you guys to my very very very very first newbie actual wedding day photos...as i'm now processing them for the lovely couple
if i postpone somemore, i think this blog will be dead already by then
so i'll just post up this one first then go back behind time when i'm finally able to d

Deborah was a classmate of mine back then during my diploma course at SIM...
i also actually did their pre-wedding shots which i wasn't even really satisfied with as i felt then that i didn't really put my best in it, somehow, and oh my god, really...
but up till now after looking and processing some 20+ photos from the shoot yesterday, i will say..i think i did not bad for my first time man...

first thing first....
one of my picture has been chosen to be exhibited at orchard road, outside takeshimaya, during the enchanting indonesia to be held this coming 26th and 27th of july and i'll be there as their photographer as well..

p.s.s. - the wedding was shot with 2 400d bodies, one of which i borrowed from ST and later on during their lunch i exchanged one with homesick who was my assistant then with his 40d and 3 lenses

Aceh Day 4 Part 1 + purchases

i know this was supposed to be my last post from Aceh but then i kinda got quite busy these few days..

my mum came over and left this morning
today i went out the whole entire day and went off to buy some more stuff that got me really excited and then i am moving my pictures from my hard disks, re-organizing them coz i want to dedicate one for my time machine which i had yet to use so my files are like currently on the move from one hard disk to the other and i don't wanna access them so it'd be done faster
over some 85gb worth of files are on the move right now... =O

went to school to pay the school fee today, after that continue off to buy 3 new things today

Aceh Day 3 Part 2

okay...i'm finally back to singapore again
another 5 months here
another 5 months of stress with the school which i know i'll face...
regardless, am unable to wait for the new challenges i know too i'll face in my journey tru photography this time round :D

so now finally can update regularly as per normal again d
well at least i think for the coming month !

thinking for a few shoots for the upcoming month already though some are still awaiting confirmations, nevertheless the confirmed will be this coming sunday...

Aceh Day 3 part 2 !!

not a lot of pics today coz by the time i was shooting this,
the sun was like so damn high like right above my head making almost everything look flat machiam landasan airplane all....

11.25 a.m. we traveled to this place called danau laut tawar with less than half a tank of gas...
we had visited the gasoline station before that but apparently it has been closed coz everything all sold out and that is practically the case with small towns.....always sold out
like 11 a.m. sold out on gas already ?
omg ?!?!?!?!?

the same thing happened during my visit to toba also !!

anyway, half a tank of gas with that kidna lori don't get you very faarrrrrrrr
when i got down to ask the locals on how far we were then, i was quoted with 17 km !!!
17 KILOM.....omg !
i asked Kempes then....

"bisa ga ?"
"ya kalo mo pulang dorong mobil ya bisa lah"

and then i just knew....
in my heart i console myself

"nevermind man...the light is damn flat anyway....there's always a next time"

regardless, we travelled far enough that i got a chance to actually got down to the danau and snap a few shots off

making the pictures not really outstanding in color =x







the rest of the day i was pretty much cameraless with work and on the car again....

13.35 a.m. we got back to the town of Takengon again, the lake was like very far away, like i said 17km far far away from the town..the views of the lake were like so damn amazing la..so wish wish wish i was there like during a perfect light...u know...like the sunsets i captured during my sibolga trip back during my previous holiday back hometown...
we had a really quick like really so damn quick quick, we had like 10 mins time for lunch then it was work already !!

by 14.25 we were already on the move again heading away from Takengon towards Lhokseumawe again...

then we pass Bireun at around 16.25, another town in Aceh and finally got to captured some sunset again with my G9 at around 18.28 from somewhere between Bireun and Lhokseumawe...not really nice pics but will find some worthy to share to post tomorrow d..now i tired already to edit more pics... =x
19.00 = reached Lhokseumawe and then quickly quickly check in the losmen and went for dinner and it was like rest and chat chat chat till 11 plus then i was like a dead log on the bed already d




ok...it's like almost 4 a.m. and i've just finished transfering the pictures that i shot in medan to my mac :D
i go sleep now d

Aceh Day 3 Part 1

i was supposed to be in singapore like...right now !
but i overslept so ain't there yet !!
OMG OMG OMG




ok i lied...
i checked my timetable for the new semester and my class will only starts like on the 7th so i told dad, then he asked me if i have anything urgent to be done by the 3rd, if nothing then postpone my flight to the 6th lor
so i said ok lor
postpone

so i will only be back to singapore again by the 6th of july :D
postpone a few days only
and yes
i also happy !
it simply means a few more days with f......

okay...Aceh Day 3 !


the three of us woke up DAMN early...like at 3.30 am...
and began preparing ourselves,
made some breakfast as well
by 04.28...we were already on the road again...

destination : takengon !

i was hoping to have some really good sunrise but again, there was no sun :(





we reached cot panglima at 6.15 and i got down to shoot for a bit, kempes had the bread breakfast we made earlier while Asiong remained sleeping in the car -.-"





the lights were pretty damn flat despite the amazing views and the lens i used were pretty much under performed, couldn't do justice to the scene :(
which just remind me that i need a new lens pretty damn soon...
time to save again d





07.47 a.m. : got back on the road again





i stopped by this place by the road again to shoot more !














after that we were then on the move again d.......
by 10.05 then we finally reached Takengon and it was working time !
then at around 11.25, we took a break from work coz most of them also ask us to come back later, so we were then on the move agian finding shooting spots
